A US-based high-end electric bikes manufacturer.

The client doesn’t have a strong developed visual identity, but have a clearly defined mission. The company seeks people to engage more with their environment and local communities, as well as to promote an eco-conscious outlook.

Problem

Design an e-bike companion app.

The app should be an extension of onboard bike computer:

• display speed, charge, trip distance, and power output
• provide access to bike functions and settings
• also calculate caloric burn and CO2 emissions offset
• give ability to set personal goals
• allow tracking and saving trips
• have some social and navigation functions to engage owners to use bike more
• it should emphasise the hi-tech nature of the product, but also be friendly and familiar
• it should provide value to owners of Magnum Bikes, other ebikes and classic and sport bicycles.
